News December 28: Shannen Doherty's not-so-charmed off-screen life took another wrong turn--literally--on Thursday, when the actress was busted on a drunken driving charge after weaving across a Southern California highway.The actress' black Ford pickup was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol about 3 a.m. PT in Thousand Oaks, a northern suburb of Los Angeles.Doherty's truck had been drifting across the lanes of the Ventura (101) Freeway, police say.The 29-year-old star of the WB's Charmed was given a sobriety test at the scene, but Doherty refused to take a Breathalyzer test. She was then taken to the Ventura County Jail for a blood test to determine her level of intoxication, according to the California Highway Patrol. The results, which will be forwarded to the Ventura County District Attorney, won't be known for about a week. Doherty was booked on suspicion of drunken driving and released without bail a few hours later. She's due in Ventura County Superior Court for arraignment January 26. No word yet from her reps regarding the arrest.The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum has had a rough off-camera life. She got things rolling back in 1992 with an L.A. nightclub scuffle, then went on to be sued in 1994 by an ex-landlord who said she trashed her rented house and stiffed him on the rent. There was her blink-and-you'll-miss-it marriage to Ashley Hamilton and her firing from 90210 for her diva-like antics. The hits kept on coming. In 1997, a woman filed a lawsuit against Doherty and her parents, alleging Doherty's dogs bit her after she came to the door of the family's Malibu home. And later that year, Doherty was sentenced to anger-management counseling after she smashed a car window with a beer bottle during an argument outside another L.A. club. On the bright side, Charmed, which costars Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs as Doherty's witchy sisters, has become one of the WB's biggest hits.Still, it's been a rough year for 90210's erstwhile Walsh kids. In March, Doherty's TV twin, Jason Priestley, was sentenced to five days in a Los Angeles lockup--also on a drunken-driving charge. |

My Point Of View:
My point of view is based normal stuff that everyday kids/teens face. These are my judgements and thoughts and in no way are violatin anything cuz I have the freedom of press at least with this kind of stuff. And I am sorry if i offended/insulted anyone at ALL!!!!
First of all I wanna start with the MAIN 1 of all and I'll go down the line,k?
1) Drugs, Alcohol, and Smoking:
More kids have been tryin to smoke and drink AND use drugs. That's like the worst thing of all. I mean, c'mon, of course it's bad enough to have ADULTS doin that BUT KIDS!!! And some are barely in middle school either! I heard bout this girl and she got this cookie from her friend and ate it and it actually contained drugs and she almost died!!! CAN U BELIEVE THAT??? A COOKIE!! A small, STUPID, COOKIE!!! Now, wat is that all bout? E-mail me any comments!
2) Teen Pop Stars CLOTHES:
Okay, I have a big problem the way Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears' CLOTHING!!! I am sorry to anyone who thinks they the bomb, I mean I like sum of their songs BUT THEIR CLOTHES!?!?!?!?! They have a lot of money so why don't they spend it on clothes that will ACTUALLY FIT THEM??!?!?!?! I mean Britney Spears for example. She dresses as if she was borrowin her little sister's clothes!?!?!?!?! And Christina Aguilera, C'MON, okay, the belly button is nice DON'T SHOW IT TO US ANYMORE!!!!!! They call themselves kids' role models BUT I don't want my sis dressin like them (Or singin like Britney, but you know what I mean). And I don't mean JUST them, there are a lot for example: Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey, and others. I wanna know what everyone else thinks too so E-MAIL ME!!!
